We want you to be completely happy with your Trico Gear purchase. If something is not right, we are here to help. Please read this policy carefully so you know exactly what to do and what to expect.


1. Our 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns or process refunds.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unworn and unused
  • In the same condition you received it
  • In its original packaging with all tags still attached
  • Free from any odours, stains or signs of wear

If the item does not meet these conditions when it arrives back with us, we reserve the right to refuse the return.


2. How to Start a Return

To start a return, send an email to support@tricogear.com with the following information:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • The item you want to return
  • The reason for your return

Our team will respond within 24 hours with return instructions and the return address. Please do not send any item back before hearing from us, as returns sent without prior authorisation may not be processed.


3. Change of Mind Returns

If you simply changed your mind about a purchase, you are still welcome to return it within 30 days. However, the following conditions apply:

  • A restocking fee of 35% of the item price will be deducted from your refund
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • The item must meet all the conditions listed in Section 1

We recommend using a tracked shipping service for your return. Trico Gear is not responsible for items lost in transit during a change of mind return.

UK Customers: Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it and receive a full refund, including standard delivery costs. The 35% restocking fee does not apply within this 14-day statutory cancellation period. After 14 days and up to 30 days, our standard change of mind policy applies.


4. Damaged Items

We carefully inspect and package every order before it is sent out. However, if your item arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

  • Report the damage to us within 3 to 4 days of receiving your delivery
  • Send an email to support@tricogear.com with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged item and its packaging
  • Do not throw away the packaging as it may be needed for a carrier claim

If the damage is confirmed, we will send you a replacement item or issue a full refund to your original payment method. Trico Gear will cover all return shipping costs for damaged items.

Reports made after 4 days of delivery may not be eligible for a refund or replacement as we are unable to verify the condition of the item at the time of delivery.


5. Wrong Item Received

If you receive an item that is different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your delivery
  • Send an email to support@tricogear.com with the following:
    • Your order number
    • A clear photograph of the incorrect item you received
  • Do not use or remove the tags from the item

Once we confirm the error, we will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you or issue a full refund to your original payment method. Trico Gear will cover all return shipping costs for incorrect items.


6. Missing Components or Accessories

If your order arrives with missing components, accessories or parts that were listed in the product description, please let us know right away.

  • Contact us within 3 days of receiving your order
  • Send an email to support@tricogear.com with your order number and details of what is missing

We will investigate the issue and send out the missing item or arrange an appropriate resolution as quickly as possible.


7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

  • Customised or personalised items made to your specific requirements
  • Items that have been worn, washed or altered in any way
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window has passed

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before sending anything back.


8. How Refunds Are Processed

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it within 1 to 3 business days. You will receive an email notification once your refund has been approved or if there is an issue with the return.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method only. We do not offer store credit or alternative payment methods for refunds.

Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued from our end. Processing times vary depending on your bank but typically take 3 to 5 business days to appear in your account.

10. Exchanges

At this time we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or colour, please return your original item following the process in Section 2 and place a new order for the item you want.
